Tacori was sleeping soundly through the constant ringing of her alarm clock. When she finally woke up the alarm had been going for twenty minutes. "Oh shit!" She exclaimed jumping out of bed and into the bathroom. She was supposed to pick up her friend at the Memphis train station at nine - thirty and she was late! The season is fall and the temp could get pretty frigit around that time of year. She splashed some water on her and threw on a black tank top and pants. Over that, a black tee length coat. She grabbed the keys off the nightstand and stormed out the door. Now a half an hour late.

Elvis was pacing back and forth with his suitcase and portable record player in hand. Tacori was thirty minutes late and counting. He looked down at his watch, "Where can she be?" He whispered to himself. He sat his suitcase down and sat on it. Waiting... He placed his chin in his hand and sighed heavily. "Come on 'Cola!" He mumbles underneath his breath. He was on the last train to Memphis and the train station was quiet and no one around. Elvis didn't like being alone, it kinda made him nervous.

Tacori pushed the pedal to the metal. Elvis' royal purple cadillac was flying down the streets in Memphis. He had let her borrow it while he was away. She slowed down when she got to the train station and pulled up to where Elvis was sitting. He was sitting on his suitcase with an unhappy facial expression. She slowly got out of the car and approached him. "I'm sorry I was late El... I'd over slept." She dropped her arms down by her side, "Come on! You know I'm not a morning person El!" She stood still, waiting for Elvis to relpy.

Elvis stood up and stared at her for the longest time. His mouth slowly curled up into a smile. "I'd hoped you hadn't trashed my car." He tells her holding his arms open to give her a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on her temple. He released her and grabbed his things. "The worst thing about it is that you don't even live that far from the train station, and still managed to be late." He teased. "I'm tired, let's hit it kid." He tossed his things in the trunk and jumped into the passenger side. "It's good to be back in Memphis." He remarked spreading his arm across the front seats. "Good to be home."

"Hey, I'm an execellent driver!" Tacori protested proudly as Elvis wraps her in a hug. When he let her go he left a wet kiss on the side of her face. She slyly wiped the excess salivia off. "Leave it up to you to kiss like a excited puppy." She mumbled under her breath as Elvis reached for his things. He dumped them in the trunk and took a seat in the car. "I guess that means I'm driving then. Score!" She sat in the driver seat and took off to Graceland.

Elvis looked over at Tacori. He had heard what he said about the kiss. He wasn't going to say anything about it because he was going to get her back... later. "Don't be so uptight 'Cori." He instructed. "Loosen your grip, the wheel ain't gonna go anywhere." Then he smelled something in his car. Something like, flowers or fresh lemonade. "It smells girlie in here." He announced walking his fingers toward her and touched her shoulder. "You look good today, someone might think that you're my girlfriend."

"I'm not being uptight El." She assures him. She gave him a half smile, "It's not girlie, it smells good. That leather smell was getting on my nerves." She shivers as she remembers the smell. "It was starting to give me headaches." It took Tacori a minute to registered what Elvis had just said. She laughed, "No one is going to think that I'm your G. F. , your maid yeah, but not your girlfriend." She pulled up to the gates at Graceland. "Well, you're home." She acknowledged with a smile.
