Elvis is very generous and Tacori knew this well. So, she wanted to get him something special for his returning to Memphis. She was tired of being on the receiving end of the relationship anyway. He loved the cloths that was in a little Beale Street shop so she decided to check it out. Maybe she'll find something for him there. When she and Aaliyah went inside Tacori found the cloths very flashy yet classy. She went over by the belts and found a black leather belt that had a huge buckle on it. Encrusted on the buckle were billions of rhinestones, shaped to spell out Memphis. Since Elvis loved Memphis so much she decided to get it for him and prayed that he like it. She bought it and she and Aaliyah headed to the car.

Aaliyah took a peek at the belt inside the white bag, "Yep that looks like him." She assured Tacori. There were a short pause, "When are the two of you going to get serious?" She later questioned taking the belt out of the bag. "I mean that man has been hinting at you that he has feelings for you. It's so obvious." She laughed as she wrapped the belt around her waist. She started walking backwards infront of Tacori singing, "You know I can be found, sitting home all alone. If you can't come around, at least please telephone don't be cruel, to a heart that's true..."

Tacori laughed then rolled her eyes, "You know why I can be with him Liyah." She sighed. "And besides, he's famous and lately he's been only dating those famous chicks that you see on the silver screen." She looked off into Beale street's brick road. "You've better stop teasing him. You know how his temper is." Tacori joked as she spotted someone behind Aaliyah. "Liyah STOP!!!" she exlaimed at the top of her lungs but it was too late.

Before the words came out of Tacori's mouth Aaliyah had bumped into someone. She quickly turned around and seen a red head girl, still standing, but her sandwich wasn't. "Oh my god!" Aaliyah shrieked, "I am so sorry. She went to pick up the sandwich that was still in it's wrapper but a horse that was close by grabbed it within it's jaws before she could get to it. "Shit!" She whispered underneath her breath as the horse chomped on the sandwich. "Oh you're just a greedy thing aren't you!" She fussed at the horse.

Quinnlan's bottom lip poked out as she looked at the empty spot on the pavement where her sandwich once was. She sighed and looked accusingly at the horse who whinnied at her then nudged her with his nose. "Don't try to act all sweet now mister." She scolded with a pout on her face. She turned to the other girls.

Aaliyah shoved the belt at Tacori, "I really am sorry for that." She thought for a second, "Look, me and my friend here are going to Al's Diner, if you join us I could buy you lunch to make up for all of this." Aaliyah offered. "Al's food is the best in Memphis." She coached, trying to get the girl to agree.

Quinn's gazed bounced from the one girl to the other. She shrugged and offered her hand. "I'm Quinnlan Arielle, but you can call me Quinn. All my friends do. I'd love to join you both for lunch." She smiled at them. "Tell me..." She started to say as they began walking to the diner. "Have you girls heard of AFR?" She wondered always up to promoting the magazine that she wrote for. "It's The Association of Female Rights. I'm a reporter for them. It's a great magazine and the subscription is free." She coaxed with a warm smile.

"I've heard about it too." Tacori chimmed in. "I was thinking about joining." Being kind of a tom boy, Tacori didn't appreciate how women where treated, like they were inferrior or something. "The car is just over there, we can talk more about it on the way to Al's."

"Good idea!" Aaliyah agreed, "I don't know about you all but I am hungry!" She laughed as she started walking to the car. "Then we can go give El that hidious belt." She rolled her eyes, "I know he's gonna be wearing it all the time!"

Quinn smiled and nodded. She figured it was best in situations where she didn't know what the hell anyone was talking about or what was going on. She didn't know who this Elle was but she was sure that she wouldn't want a hidious belt. "Is Elle a friend of yours? Would she be interrested in joining?" Quinn wondered as she bounced after the other two girls.

Tacori smiled to herself, should she keep it to herself that El's a guy, and not just any guy? "You could ask El when we go over there, might be very interrested in it." She says in a nice tone. On a second thought, Quinnlan might not know who Elvis Presley was. She bit down on her bottom lip as she and Quinn tried to keep up with Aaliyah. She had to test her, "So, have you heard that song called "Heartbreak Hotel?" I've heard that the people who wrote it was inspired by a suicide note. ((True story)) If you asked me, I'll say that's kinda creepy."

"Heartbreak Hotel?" Quinn thought. She didn't really listen to the radio, never went to movies or watched tv. It seemed like she lived under a rock but she was always busy writing for AFR to take time out to enjoy other things. "Nope never heard of it." She didn't even know who was famous these days. How sad was she?! She had hoped that these two new girls and her would get along good and become friends but if they didn't have anything in common then.... She sighed to herself and looked around ackwardly. She hoped they were almost to the car. She was starving.

Tacori sighed, "Well my friend, El, sings it." The gig was up, "El's a he... you know Elvis Presley?" Tacori smacked herself in the forehead, "Duh, well he still might be interested in the AFR." Or just interested in her. "He might even donate some money also. He's really nice." She says as they got to the car.

"Oh!" Quinn exclaimed and blushed. She didn't know who this Elvis Presley fellow was but if he had money and was willing to give it away then she should definatly take advantage of telling him about AFR. Even if he was a... well he. She shrugged to herself as she climbed in the backseat. A man giving money to a woman's rights magazine... that'd be the day. Most men wanted to keep women in their "place", the kitchen. Well Quinn would tell those men where she'd stick those pots and pans.... She cleared her mind knowing that she was probably scowling. She'd always had the unfortunate problem of wearing her thoughts on her face.
