James stood on the steps of the train station and sucked on his tenth cigarette of the twenty minutes he'd been standing there. He sighed heavily and leaned against the railing and kicked his suitcase with his foot. It teetered on it's side before deciding not to fall over then slide down the remaining steps. He was waiting for Elvis. Wondering what was taking him so long, James glanced up at the orange, pink and purple sky. He loved dusk when the sky changed colors. The wind blew and ruffled his thick hair.

Elvis hustled to get to the train station on time. It was kind of hard when he had a house guest. If you know what he mean. Stood about 5'5'', 106 pounds, and legs for days... anyway. The tires squealed as he stopped it at the train station. He got out of his car and didn't see James anywhere. "Where could he be?" He wondered. He went inside, no signs of him. He went back outside, "Hey Jim, where are ya?!" he yelled, loud enough for the entire city of Memphis to hear him.

"No need to yell man." James said from behind Elvis, a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and his suitcase in hand. "What took you so long?" He mumbled and walked past his friend to his car and tossed his suitcase in the backseat. "Lets get a move on. I'm hungry as hell." He commented and got in the passenger side of the car. He was less then pleased with driving these days.

Elvis raised an eyebrow and followed James to the car. "I lost track of time, a house guest." He sighed as he joined James in the car, "Tacori." He blocked the thought that he had out of his head. "She... she kinda hurt my feelings." He chuckled, "Oh well, did you want to eat somewhere or do you want me to have my cook make you something. She'll cook you whatever you want..." He slightly look over at James as he pulled off. "Anything."

James sent Elvis an odd look. "I'll pass on the cook man, I don't want clogged arteries for the rest of my life." He joked with a smirk. "Nah man, just go to the diner. You know the one we usually hang out at." He told him as he racked his brain for the name of it. "Al's." He finally remembered. "I've been craving one of their burgers." He rubbed his stomach.

Elvis looked at him and shrugged, "Well, ok then. You get clogged arteries by eating that stuff too." He look forward and started to speed toward Al's place. "So, have you met any cute females?" He asks taking the subject off of food.

James looked out the window and shook his head. "Nah." He mumbled then turned to Elvis. "Why? Do you know any that I can... meet?" He questioned with a rakish smile on his face. Elvis probably knew hundreds of girls but he'd been there and done that. He was looking for something different. He'd know her when he saw her.

Elvis thought for a while, "Nope, none that could be 'the one'." He sighed. He had "The One" right in his grasps but he didn't really "have her" yet. "It seem like all the girls I meet now are the same.... guess it comes with the territory." He stopped for a red light. "I think that's why I like Cori, she's a tomboy, but she's different."

"That's good." What the hell was he supposed to say to that?! To be quite honest he could care less. Yeah he was happy for his friend but he hated those happy people who tried to make other people happy with their happiness. He was getting sick just thinking about it. With a small shudder he felt the car come to a stop and looked around. They were finally at the diner.
(We should continue this elsewhere so I'll let you figure out where since there's no Al's Diner thread)
