Elvis and Tacori were hanging out in the livingroom. They both were on the couch, Tacori was on one end with her feet laying on Elvis' lap. Elvis took the opertunity to get her back for what he said when she was picking him up from the train station. He slowly crept his fingers toward her toes and started to tickle them with one hand while the other held onto her foot. "Now what did you say about my kisses?" He iterrogated. "I kiss like what?" He asked tickling her feet somemore.

Tacori was comfortable with her feet propped up on Elvis' thighs. She was reading a book, not paying any attention to him. Then she felt his fingers on her feet. First starting down the middle then working their way up. "Quit it El, I'm trying to read." She informed. She tried to jerk her foot away but couldn't because he held onto it. He asked about what she had mumbled at the train station. The boy must have ears like an elephant! "Well, your kisses are too wet so I said that you kissed like like a excited puppy. All wet and slobbery." Her answer didn't seem to matter because he kept tickling her foot. "Elvis stop it please?" She pleaded.

He gave her foot one last tickle and he put it down and was soon back to his business. "You're staying the night?" he questions as he bit his bottom lip. "It's kinda late and I have to pick up James soon." He waited for Tacori to answer. Her silence spoke louder than words ever could. "All I'm asking of you is to stay here tonight. It doesn't have to be up there with me..." He tilted his head to one side to see what her expression was. "Please... "

Tacori sighed and put her knees underneath her chin, "Not tonight. Plus you're probably bringing Jimmy here..." She could tell that it upset Elvis that she didn't want to stay. "And my dad wouldn't appreciate me staying here either." She had known Elvis for the longest time, even before the screaming fans and all the fame he has now. She was more than comfortable being just friends and when Elvis tried to get just a little bit closer to her she'd put a wall up. She didn't want to end up like her parents had. There was still racial tension and didn't feel up to dealing with that. Especially in the public's eye. "Maybe I should go." She stood up and stuffed her feet in her gray swede converse shoes.

Elvis stood up and sighed, "Ok then." He knew that he couldn't say anything else to convence her to stay. He looked down at his watch. "I better go and get Jim, you want me to drop you off at home first?" He asked, "Your father wouldn't mind would he?" He teased angrily.

"I was plaining on walking home, but yeah, you can drive me home." She tried to make her voice sound as pleasent as she could. She could tell that he was upset and when he's upset, sometimes his temper gets the best of him. She grabbed her billfold and headed for the door. She found having a purse what a pain. "I'm ready when you are."

Elvis nodded his head and grabbed his coat. He walked out the door and never looked back at Tacori. He didn't understand why, when they seemed to be getting closer she pushes him away and that pissed him off. He looked down at his watch, "Come on, I'm gonna be late picking him up." He got inside the car and never said another word, even through the trip to her father's house. After he dropped her off he headed to the train station.
